Hi there Ladies,
ReplyDeleteThank you for your kind comments about the dress which I call "Little Poppet"
All the praise goes to our wonderful Vani, as without her wonderful tutorial I wouldn't have been able to make my own pattern.

Just now I visited your blog. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI think you made my day.I was frantically searching for this pattern and I myself figured out a method to do this.So I took a circular piece of paper and added extra inches for the smocking. But ended up a half circle. You can see the finished half circle in my blog.So I gave up and thought of doing a straight piece in the chest of the frock.I found one more pattern for this dress and it was a bit confusing. But Thank you so much for the pattern and I will try it and let you know.I will go through the tutorial again and will mail you if I have any doubts and can you guide me ?
ReplyDeleteThank you for the appreciation .I will certainly try to clear your doubts
ReplyDeletevery Excellent Blog,

I want to make a sari blouse for my mother. She wears simple ones without any front belt and darts.
ReplyDeleteOnly one set of dart for front and one set for the back. Please tell me what changes I need to make to the draft pattern you have earlier posted. Also she is not happy with the sleeve fitting of tailors. Any suggestions on improving that.
Thanks for the help.
