Fold the measurement blouse in to 4 folds as shown leaving the extension of the placket outside
A-C = shoulder width + ¼” .While taking this measurement place a scale along the dotted line.
C-D = Chest + 1” for seams. Seam allowance can be kept more to adjust the size.
E-F = Full length + 1½” for folding.
G-E = Waist + seam allowance that is equal to the  seam allowance added for chest.
I-J = Sleeve length + 1½” for folding
L-K = Scye depth
I –P = Sleeve width + seam allowance equal to the  seam allowance  added for chest.
P-Q = Sleeve   width + seam allowance equal to seam allowance  added for chest.
R-S = Biceps width + seam allowance equal to seam allowance   added for chest.
L-M = Neck width -1/4".While taking this measurement Place a scale along the dotted line
N-O = Neck depth .  While taking measurement place a scale along the dotted line

  9. What is the difference between Scye depth and Biceps width? My mother's scye depth from a stitched blouse is 6"+ seam allowance or only 6"

  10. There was some mistake .I have corrected it.No need to add seam allowance for scye depth .When you stitch arm hole is increased. So no need to add.

  32. Ma,

As per the instruction I took the measurement of the chest from the button eye side, I added extra ease allowance of 1 and half inches to the chest/bust and 1 half inch to the waist, and another 1 and half inch for seam allowance. After finishing i found 4 inches more though I sewed in the seam allowance other fittings are perfect except the loose of 2 inches on each side.Where i went wrong, is it not necessary to add the ease allowance as we are measuring on the button eye side.

  33. If we use body measurements we have to add ease.while taking measurements from blouse ease has already been added we have add seam allowance.
